We use mild infrared heat for a cozy practice during cold days.
Imagine this: Outside, the world is wrapped in a frosty chill, but you're in a different world entirely. You're enveloped in the cozy warmth of Jai Yoga Studio's unique yoga room, where our infrared panels create a gentle, sun-like warmth. It's like practicing under the gentle rays of a warm summer morning sun. Inviting, isn't it?
Our infrared heating is subtly set just 1 to 2°C above room temperature, offering the advantages of infrared warmth while ensuring your comfort during practice.
And just to be clear – we're not a hot yoga studio. While we love a good sweaty yoga session, we believe your sweat should come from your effort, not from an overly heated room. Our studio features only seven infrared heaters, creating a gentle, mild environment, unlike traditional hot yoga studios that use thirty to forty panels to generate intense heat.
Drawing wisdom from the ancient Hatha Yoga Pradipika, it's emphasized that yoga should be a comfortable, not overwhelming, experience. This is why we only use our mild infrared heating during cold days.
Now, let's blend some science with this philosophy. Practicing yoga in our mildly heated environment offers multiple health benefits, including:
Stress and tension reduction
Enhanced lymphatic flow
A stronger immune system
Improved blood circulation deep within muscles
Better flexibility
We cool the room for a more comfortable practice during hot summer days.
Picture this: The summer heat is intense, but inside Jai Yoga Studio, it's a different story. Before each class, we use air conditioning to cool each room down to a pleasant, ambient level, ensuring your yoga experience is as comfortable as it is invigorating. It's like finding an oasis of calm and coolness amidst the summer heat.
While we use mild infrared heating during colder days to create a cozy, sun-like warmth, we understand the importance of staying cool during the hot summer months. Our approach is all about balance and adapting to the seasons, ensuring your yoga practice is always a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Remember, we're not a hot yoga studio. Our goal is to provide a setting where your effort, not the room temperature, is what challenges and invigorates you. Our studio is equipped with infrared heaters for gentle warmth in winter, and air conditioning to maintain a cool and refreshing environment in summer.
In line with the teachings of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, we believe yoga should never be an overwhelming experience. Whether it's the gentle warmth of winter or the cool comfort of summer, our studio environment is designed to enhance your yoga journey.
Join us at Jai Yoga Studio and experience the perfect balance of warmth and coolness, tailored to the rhythms of the seasons.
With social distancing measures in place, we have reduced our class size down to 50% capacity with a maximum of 17 people for each class.
Yoga should simply be about yoga and your own practice, not worrying about how much space you have to practice in and who you’re practicing with. Rest assured, we take your yoga practice very seriously, so we will take any measures we can to ensure you have a safe and worry-free practice.
